Changing note colours (2013-06-23 03:27 by Martin #69230)

Hi,
Thank you very much for your wonderful program. I need to be able to change the colours of the displayed notes so that each note has a specific colour.
Can you please tell me how this is possible?
Thanks in advance,
Martin

You can change the color of notes for each cannel by editing *.ini files.
Please check following section of the user manual.

> 7. How to customize
> (2) View Mode Configuration
> (c) Color
> Ch-xx-NoteRGBA Color of the piano roll bar at each channel.(RGBA)

If you want to change the color of notes for each scale,
please check following thread, and download special version of MIDITrail.

That's great, thank you. I run Miditrail on Mac OSX and saw that you offered to do an OSX version of it... Is it possible? I am really not a programmer, rather a musician.
Thanks again for your help.

Unfortunately you can not change the color of notes using GUI (graphical user interface) in current version.
You have to edit the configuration file of MIDITrail by text editor.
Please refer to the following page.

Fantastic.
Another question: is there a way to save the result as a video file?

MIDITrail does not have the video recording feature.
Please use the screen recording software.

As the first choice, you can use Quick Time Player for video recording.
'File' menu -> 'New Screen Recording'
