Playing Multiple MIDI inputs (2014-04-23 01:30 by OLLYJAY #72762)

Hello! beautiful app! I want to know how to play multiple MIDI inputs on the piano roll rain setting. At the moment I have one synth plugged in but would like to plug in four if possible and have each one on a different keyboard, is this possible?

Thanks

Thank you for your message.

MIDITrail visualizes 16 piano keyboards for one port (16ch) on Piano Roll Rain setting.
If 'one synth plugged in' corresponds to one port, MIDITrail can not meet your needs.

Thanks for the reply, could you explain what you mean by port, is there such as thing that I can plug 4 midi devices into so that it gets read through the one port? and will each synth appear on a different visual piano on the piano roll rain setting?

Thanks

Please see following figure.

MIDITrail visualizes the first port of MIDI data on Piano Roll Rain setting.
If your software synth has the feature like "Software Synth C",
your objective will be achieved.
