It appears to still be broken since I tried opening it, which it does, but once I open a MIDI it crashes once again on El Capitan,

FILE: OGLPrimitive.mm
LINE: 602
INFO: 00000501 00000000

What can I do?

You are using MIDITrail Ver.1.2.2 ?
Could you upload the MIDI data file that causes the error ?

Actually, it's not just one MIDI file, every MIDI file I try to load gives this error. I didn't even change any other settings yet.

That error does not occur on my Mac.
So, please tell me following information.

1) "About This Mac" information
Mac model name -- e.g. "MacBook (13-inch, Mid 2010)"
Graphics information -- e.g. "NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256MB"

2) When you lounch MIDITrail, is there any error will occur before you open MIDI file?
